During the Indianapolis 500 of 2010, Indianapolis reached a Super Swarm. This was the first Super Swarm in the United States…  since the SXSW Conference. The problem was that although we had passed 250 people the badge hadn’t unlocked for the people who had built the Super Swarm. Chris Banks filed a complaint (link), and not only did it get fixed but he saw there was a void. There had to be a better way to connect locally, share knowledge other than random tips, and to be a visible group of people to show local businesses that we do use this service.
