Today is June 30, 2010, and now better known as Social Media Day.

The idea created by Mashable of having a day to “celebrate the revolution of media becoming social” is being actualized throughout the world.

After partnering with Meetup, Mashable and Meetup have a site dedicated to Social Media Day meetups around the globe.

Make plans to come to Indy’s meetup tonight.  It’s located at Scotty’s Brewhouse – Downtown.
